art is a series of life pieces
a housing crisis is an art piece
my crisis started at 17 Paton Road
i have learned a lot

losing housing is a breach of dignity; don't let the shame eat you fighting for housing should not be necessary and when it is, it questions the deepest values and challenges our friends; hard conversations happen when there is no family, the system becomes the "family" and it is heart wrenching to realize that it considers us as statistical occurences; meditate fighting for housing is much easier when done as a community, but it is hard work for a community to keep the priorities of the most vulnerable front; do not hide your vulnerability: it is the only truth that can trigger change.
