organized by Simla Civelek and claude wittmann
Sunday March 5, 2017, 6-9pm
180 Shaw Street, Toronto
The venue is fully accessible by Ontario standards, with a wheelchair ramp at the 180 Shaw Street doors, an elevator servicing every floor and a fully accessible washroom on every level.
We have been inspired by Marylin Arsem's "Waiting for Sunrise" which took place Jan 13-14, 2017 in Toronto, and want to recreate the waiting as a moment of silence by different human beings in the same space between 6 and 9 pm. Cellphones will be turned off or silenced except one which will broadcast the silence onto an internet radio. You can drop-in or stay for the 3 hours. The waiting is free."
